Sizing

Please use the below guide when selecting size:

 

All ballet shoes should be closely fitted.  Ballet shoes should not be bought too large as the ballet teacher needs to be able to see the foot when pointing.

 

Ballet Shoes - For all Katz Capezio and Gandolfi ballet shoes please order a size bigger than your normal shoe size. If ordering a Bloch ballet shoe please order your usual shoe size and take into account the width of the foot.  B fitting is narrow, a C fitting average and a D fitting wide.

 

If ordering the Bloch dance sneakers you may be advised to order a half size larger than your normal shoe size.

 

Please note all of the below guides are based on average size children.

size 0 - Age 3 to 4

Size 1 - Age 4 to 5

Size 1b - 5 to 6

Size 2 - 7 to 8

Size 3A - 9 to 10

Size 3 - 11 to 12
